About Organization...

The U.S.- Russia Investment Fund has been created for the purpose of rendering assistance to Russia in its transition to the market economy by means of granting investments and rendering technical help to the Russian and Western enterprises engaged in business activity in the country. The Fund was created by merging of the former Fund of Large Enterprises of Russia (FLER) with the Russian-American Enterprises Fund (RAEF). The capital of the Fund has been formed with the means of the US Government Agency of International Development.

The Fund has no standard form of the application for competing for financing. Proposals submitted to the Fund should contain the following, complete if possible, information:
1) Description of the project or business-plan, if such is available.
2) Description of the enterprise, including the official status, form of ownership and management structure.
3) Qualification and experience of the managing staff.
4) Description of the goods or services intended for production and realization, raw material and materials for their manufacture, sources of their supplies.
5) Overview of the branch/industry.
6) Description of the consumers and the system of product distribution.
7) Description of the market of the planned goods or services, including the volumes of sales in the natural and cost measurement, as well as the existing and/or planned share of the enterprise on the market.
8) Financial reports for the previous periods and financial forecasts both for the enterprise as a whole, and for the particular produce or services.
9) Description of the sources and directions of the utilization of the planned investments.
10) Names of any existing or potential partners in the joint venture.
11) Names and contact information of the persons for further communication.
