Voronezh scientists in cooperation with Italians will work on new kinds of wheat of firm grades

The visit of Italian companies' representatives to Voronezh for signing an agreement on scientific and technical co-operation with Voronezh State Agrarian University representatives is planned for the beginning of December. As the head of organizational actions and works with foreign clients sector of Foreign Trade Activities and International Co-operation Department of the Voronezh Regional Administration Irina Boeva informed, during the Voronezh delegation trip to the city of Bologna (Italy) in the beginning of November preliminary discussion on co-operation in agriculture had taken place. In particular, the question of teamwork on raising of new kinds of firm grades of wheat was discussed. As a result the Parties agreed that the exchange of selection material which would be used in Voronezh scientists' research activity directed on meeting of Italian pasta manufacturers' needs in wheat of firm grades would take place after signing the agreement.
